Each packet makes two loaves. It is so nice to make up a bunch of packets and then I don't have to get out ALL the ingredients every time I make bread. I don't have a bread machine, but this recipe is REALLY fast. I only raise it once. SOOOO yummy. Your bread looks great. i took pictures of mine, too!! We do have a serrated electric knife already, but I haven't been using it--I should!Brittanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00621569580858604541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-294794766428738036.post-65219617402630502902010-05-19T08:33:27.587-07:002010-05-19T08:33:27.587-07:00I checked and there are still companies making the...I checked and there are still companies making the slicing guides. This is the one I have. I've recommended it so many times...

We eat mostly whole grains but I've noticed commercial whole wheat bread has more and more chemical ingredients lately :-( I have a bread machine too and have been using it more lately! Two things that really make handling a homemade loaf easier - serrated electric knife, and bread slicing guide. I got my guide off ebay since they don't make them anymore. I think the brand I have is Presto?

In my pancakes, waffles, muffins, etc I've been using half whole wheat flour, half oat flour instead of all-purpose. It comes out yummy!

Connie :-)CMBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07319698236961774725noreply@blogger.com
