My doula training materials emphasized that when making a website, it is important to consider your audience's taste and whether or not the colors and graphics you choose align with the image you want to present. I asked about the black and pink background because I honestly wasn't sure it did all of that, even though I find it appealing myself. Just because I like something doesn't mean my readers will. The harshness of the black on white, the pink design seems obtrusive and neither seem to support your them of birth. <br /><br />Just take it for what it's worth.
